We observe all of the following guidelines from Steganos, plus we never save passwords explicitly on any computer medium if avoidable, although this is becoming more difficult with new software “changes”. Some of the recent changes, intended to increase security, like using cell phone numbers and email addresses may damage security; the increased complication may discourage proper procedures and lead to errors.
