Microsoft Dynamics™ GP Human Resources Management

Designed to give you total control over every important personnel application, Human Resources gives you the ability to store, analyze and integrate all your employee information in one central system. It tracks all aspects of the employee life cycle-from application to termination of the employment contract. And when Human Resources is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics™ GP Payroll, you gain the additional ability to enter and edit transactions, print paychecks and generate W-2 statements and other payroll reports.

Efficient setup systems allow you to design the system to match your processes.
Comprehensive system setup saves time and adapts to changes. Instead of forcing you to alter your procedures and processes to conform to the software, a full selection of easy-to-use setup systems are included to ensure the system works for you, like you want it to. You can create time codes that define how your employees log their time and develop schedules that define how they earn vacation. Create template employee records and speed record entry using employee classes. Classes provide a fast, consistent method for entering employee records. Simply customize the class information by changing specific details for individual employees.

Applicant tracking options provide instant access to detailed information.
The Applicant system provides the framework you need to track the applicants in your company. Track unlimited history, reference, education, skill and interview information for applicants and any other information specific to your industry or organization. Keep tabs on the costs associated with each applicant for each position, making cost analysis simple.

Employee tracking allows you to track your employees from their first days to their last, monitoring all phases of an employee’s life cycle.
Using the options from the Benefit Signup menu, you can define multiple benefits that can be applied individually; define dependents; generate benefit letters and track Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) usage and cost.

Benefit plan tracking.
The Employee system offers a rich assortment of employee-related features including those for tracking information for your company's unique benefit plans.

Track employee position and salary history, from first day to last.
The Employee system keeps expanded history for reviewing employees’ past positions and salaries in your organization. You can track and view changes in employee salaries and positions separately or combined.

Organizational structure tracking lets you manage information based on your company’s unique organizational framework.
Analyze and manage information based on organizational units. Using the Position system, you can choose each position’s EEO classification and designate its exemption status. Store job descriptions, ADA requirements and salary ranges, making job profiling simple.

With the Salary Matrix system, you can define spreadsheets of salary and wage information and use those matrices to show pay levels for each position and pay code in your organization. You can automatically adjust entire matrices by fixed percentages or amounts, making maintaining these forms almost effortless.

More than 300 reports help you summarize and analyze your human resources information.
Throughout the system, you'll find a wide variety of reports, automatically generated letters, forms, graphs and other logs that help you summarize and analyze your human resources information.

Specific reporting features include:

bulletMore than 300 reports, most of which can be altered with easy-to-use filters that let you select report specifics (many reports can be limited to specific dates, departments or individuals).
bulletSpecial-use reports, including birthday lists, turnover reports, Vets 100 reports, employee EEO reports, and a disciplinary point system setup.
bulletMailing labels generated through a user-defined list, based on the individual, department or division.
bulletSeveral WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) government reports, including I-9 reports, OSHA reports and logs, and EEO and ADA reports.
