Mekorma Software-- as the company’s Board Trustee and CFO from 2001 through
present (active account).
Mekorma has over 4,500 clients and serves those clients with tech support,
customer service and upgrades to software.
The company has embarked on a new division to provide custom
development to its customers with MS CRM systems as a partner.
Mr. Waggoner serves in that division as a business analyst and
prepares semiannual business plans with the senior management team at
Mekorma.
MCS Limited in Bermuda (a Microsoft Dynamics GP Partner)-- Mr. Waggoner
served as a management consultant to the partners of the company.
He managed their consultant group while they were searching for a new
Vice President of Consulting.
The consulting assignment included the establishment of annual business
planning for all areas of the business and providing financial information
to establish semi -annual budget processes.
Emergence Corp., (a startup company)-- Mr. Waggoner served as a part-time
consultant to the Board of Directors.
This company provided Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software to end
users as well as Microsoft CRM products for Client Relationship Management.
While working with Emergence, Mr. Waggoner served as project manager
on a large MS CRM 4.0 implementation in Jamaica (for a telephone company).
This project included 12 engineers, a call center with over 300 users, open
24/7. He also installed the CRM
Software into 2 sales departments and one contract service department with
work orders and a custom workflow. The project was completed on budget and
within the delivery dates required by the customer.
Cyber-Media - Mr. Waggoner (as
Controller then VP of Operations) participated in the preparation of
business plans that were for private placement offering (PPO). Over a
two-year period, more than four million dollars were raised from venture
capitalists (VC). Plans were
written every six months while the funds were being raised.
As the product line matured, additional business plans were required
for an IPO (initial public offering).
This offering occurred in October 1996.
The company was successfully launched through NASDAQ, and a total of
$37 million was raised from the public.
Goinvest.com - Mr. Waggoner worked for a two-year period.
This was a startup company providing financial services information
over websites. The products
permitted individual companies to provide real-time quotes, and certain
tools for investment information to their clients.
The business plan was a private placement offering to 35 investors.
A total of $6 million was raised over a one-year period.
Mr. Waggoner served as the company's CFO, and Chief Operating Officer
during the startup phases of the company.
Earlier,
Mr. Waggoner served as Vice President and General Manager, and later
President and CEO of Apparel Management Systems Inc.
He took the company from zero turnkey sales to become the seventh
largest HP Var in the country. At AMS we wrote software for the
manufacturing and importing of apparel, and sold turnkey HP3000 systems to
our customers (over 150 installs).
He led the expansion of the company from a single office in Los
Angeles to include offices in New York, Dallas, Auckland New Zealand,
Montréal Canada, Durban South Africa and Sydney Australia.
Various business plans were required over this six-year period for
the owners of the company. The plans were also used to raise money from new
partners in the United States as well as several partners in foreign
countries. The business
planning was for management and investors with market analysis, marketing
plans, sales plans and extremely thorough financial planning.
Several hundred thousand dollars were raised and multiple offices
opened to provide the manufacturing software in major markets.
At
Interactive Data Corp., a division of Chase Bank, Mr. Waggoner served as
Director of the Western region and ran the offices in Los Angeles and in San
Francisco. He participated in
annual business planning to provide management with marketing and sales
plans, product plans, and income statements and balance sheet projections
for annual planning. His
responsibilities included the deliver of financial services information to
customers and to hire and train financial consultants. He managed engineers
who made modifications to the tools used for research and information of
Equity and Fixed Asset data delivery.
As an independent consultant his clients have included:
California Interactive Computing, a software company.

City National Bank – Business Analyst in the marketing department.
LTM Lighting and Manufacturing company-- Mr.
Waggoner (as controller) installed software to control a manufacturing
process as well as a rental process.
He also prepared annual business plans for the parent company based
in Paris, France.
Career Transition Group-- Mr. Waggoner served as Controller and Consultant;
prepared annual business plans and assisted with consulting to CTG’s
customers (outplacement) on a billable basis.
When CTG became a distressed company, he assisted with the writing of
a turnaround plan; negotiated with creditors and banks, and successfully
completed the sale of the company to a competitor.
DataPro, Delran NJ – A seminar teacher – classes included Project
Management, Auditing in a Database Environment, and Implementing Distributed
Processing.
Mr. Waggoner holds: a Bachelor's Degree in Management with a minor in Accounting from the University of Redlands in California; an Associate Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Languages from Pierce College in California and 2 Microsoft (active) CRM certifications.
